I would like to take this opportunity to thank God and Ocean County Christian Academy administrative staff in allowing Aleyda and I to coach the girls Varsity and JV Volleyball squads. We had much success in our previous season as we won many of our games. In an effort to improve the upcoming seasons we plan to properly plan every training session and set clear stated objectives. We strive to set an example to be fair, firm and compassionate with our players. We instruct our players in proper techniques of the game and to use basic tactical principles. We try to instill a passion and love for the game of volleyball. All players can set realistic, achievable goals and we will help them map that course of action to reach them. Athletes will in time use this game as a vehicle that will offer opportunities that will help them in their development into adulthood. Despite our desire for victory, winning is not the sole objective of volleyball. We try to teach our girls to play to the best of their ability and to work together , if so done, they are winners already as the underlying purpose is to give the glory to God. Hello to all Volleyball Fans!
